Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Moving Wheels Car Rental Services! By renting a vehicle from us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Rental Eligibility

  • Age Requirement: Renters must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license issued at least one year prior to the rental date.
  • License: A valid driver’s license from India or an internationally recognized license is required.
  • Identification: Renters must provide valid government-issued identification (Aadhaar card, passport, or equivalent) and proof of address.

2. Rental Period

  • Duration: The rental period begins when the vehicle is picked up and ends when it is returned to the agreed location. Any extension must be requested and approved before the original return date.
  • Late Return: If the vehicle is returned late without prior approval, additional charges may apply.

3. Payment Terms

  • Rates: Rental rates are calculated on a daily basis (24-hour period), including taxes, insurance, and any applicable fees.
  • Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit will be collected before the rental begins. The deposit will be returned within 7 business days after the vehicle is returned, provided no damages or violations are found.
  • Payment Method: Payment can be made via cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, or online bank transfers.

4. Vehicle Usage

  • Authorized Drivers: Only drivers listed on the rental agreement are allowed to operate the vehicle.
  • Prohibited Uses: The vehicle must not be used for illegal activities, off-roading, racing, towing, or subletting. The renter agrees not to exceed speed limits and to obey all traffic laws.
  • Mileage Limit: The rental may include a mileage limit. Additional charges apply for excess mileage, as specified in the rental agreement.
  • Fuel Policy: The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as when it was picked up. If not, a refueling charge will apply.

5. Insurance & Liability

  • Basic Insurance: Rental vehicles include basic insurance coverage as required by law. This covers third-party liabilities. However, renters are responsible for any damage to the rental vehicle and are advised to opt for additional insurance coverage if available.
  • Damage & Theft: In the event of damage, theft, or loss of the vehicle, the renter is responsible for covering repair or replacement costs unless covered by insurance. The security deposit may be retained in part or full if damages occur.
  • Accidents: In the case of an accident, renters must immediately inform Moving Wheels and provide all necessary documentation, including a police report if applicable.

6. Vehicle Condition

  • Inspection: Renters are required to inspect the vehicle at the time of pickup and report any existing damage. The renter must return the vehicle in the same condition as received.
  • Cleaning Fee: Excessive dirt, stains, or damage to the interior will result in a cleaning fee being charged to the renter.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled rental time will be refunded in full. Cancellations within 24 hours will incur a cancellation fee of 20% of the rental price.
  • No-Show: If the renter fails to pick up the vehicle within 2 hours of the scheduled time without prior notice, the rental may be canceled without a refund.

8. Breakdown & Assistance

  • Roadside Assistance: Moving Wheels provides 24/7 roadside assistance for all rental vehicles. In the event of a breakdown, renters must contact Moving Wheels immediately for support.
  • Replacement Vehicle: If a breakdown occurs and the vehicle cannot be repaired promptly, Moving Wheels will provide a replacement vehicle subject to availability.

9. Termination of Agreement

  • Moving Wheels reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement and recover the vehicle if the terms and conditions are violated or if the vehicle is misused.

10. Jurisdiction

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be settled in the courts of Jhajjar, Haryana.

11. Privacy Policy

  • Moving Wheels respects the privacy of its customers. Personal information provided during the booking process will be kept confidential and used solely for rental purposes.

By signing the rental agreement or making a booking, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions listed above.
